Challenge
Meta was reporting appointment conversions incorrectly. Some bookings were missed, while others could trigger a conversion before the appointment was actually completed.
My Approach
I traced the complete booking journey, inspected the Meta Pixel events and GTM triggers, and compared when the conversion fired against the actual appointment completion.
Solution
I moved the Meta conversion trigger from the intermediate booking interaction to the reliable appointment-completion event, then tested successful and unsuccessful booking scenarios.
Result
Meta now receives the appointment conversion only after a successful booking, eliminating premature conversion fires and improving the accuracy of campaign reporting.
