Result: Purchase conversions and transaction values correctly tracked
Challenge
SporeDream was receiving ecommerce orders, but Google Ads was underreporting purchases and some conversion values didn’t match the actual order data.
My Approach
I traced the purchase event through GTM, checked the available ecommerce data, audited the conversion ID/label and verified which purchase value and currency were being passed.
Solution
I connected the Google Ads conversion tag to the correct purchase event and mapped the correct transaction value and currency.
Result
Google Ads now receives the correct Purchase conversion and transaction value only after a successful ecommerce purchase.
